Chocolatier: Decadence by Design is the third video game in the Chocolatier series.

Plot[]

The game starts on June 27, 1946, after the end of the Second World War. The player meets Alex Fletcher in Zurich to start off the game. She tells the player that her husband, Sean Fletcher is missing. He disappeared during an airplane mission during the war and hasn't came back since. Alex decided to search for Sean and leave the hands of the company to the player.

Alex is the CEO of Baumeister Confections, but since she decided to leave it to the player, the player in turn has to get approval from the Board of Directors.

In the end, Sean returns. In turns out that he was held captive for a while before letting go. The player meets Sean in Xunantunich , the last port to open. There, he had since helped the locals make their own cacao, Honduran Cacao (which will be available to the player by the end of the plot).

After returning with Sean, Alex and the Board of Directors will give the player the title CEO, the last attainable rank in the game.

Movie[]

The game starts off with a movie name Chocolatier: Decadence by Design, a brief history of Baumeister Confections. It explains the plotlines of the first two games, Chocolatier and Secret Ingredients, and the events unfolding to the start of this third game.

Products[]

The player needs to collect the recipes available and make some of their own to progress through the game. The products the player can make are the following:

The products recipes made by the player, called creations in the recipe book, can only be similar to the other types of products. This is also the first time the player can name, design, and describe products made in the research facility.

Trivia[]

  • Chocolatier 3 is the first game where the tutorial isn't optional. However, in the game's files, there is a dialog that the player can say back called, 'I Know How To Play', but the developers forgot to add that in, which is why all players have to complete the tutorial.
