Bars are confections first seen in Chocolatier. In the first game, bars are the first confections the player can make.
In Secret Ingredients, bars were dropped and replaced by squares as the first confection type available.
They were brought back in the third game, Decadence by Design, and is again the first confections the player can make.
They are the easiest to mass produce as they require the least amount of ingredients, but they also have lowest prices in shoppes.
